The sentence, bones are soft, is wrong. All the bones in the human body are not soft in nature.

There are different types of bones in our body and almost all of them have marrow in them unlike the soft bones which don’t have any bone marrow in them.

The second sentence that is, the human skeleton protects the internal organs is true. It creates a barrier or an outline frameworkof our body inside which all the internal organs stay at their respective locations.

This is the protective characteristic of the human skeleton.
