When the seawater moves in a direction continuously, a current called the ocean current is generated.
Some forces like water, wind, temperature, salinity, etc. act on the water to generate the ocean current.
It is of two types – surface currents and deep sea currents.
Since the deep sea current is present at the bottom of the sea, it is driven by the density of the water and the temperature gradient other than the factors like wind, salinity, etc
