◼️Under the act, a citizen can demand from any public or government authority any information (as long as it does not pertain to national security and defence or some personal information) and the authority is supposed to respond within a period of 30 days to the application.
◼️Also, every government / public authority is supposed to computerize their records for wide distribution of information. ◼️In such cases, you can submit an application under the RTI 2005, to the PIO (Public Information Officer) regarding the information about the condition of the project. As a citizen, you have the right to demand the information of what work is being carried out relating to the flyover. The PIO is obligated to provide information if demanded by any citizen. In case your request concerns another government authority, then it is the duty of the PIO to forward your application.
