In the young modulus it only depends upon only one factor that is material of the object.

  • As the area of cross section is changed.
  • The length of wire L is given.
  • But all these factors does not effect the rigidity and Young's modulus of the steel
  • As these two are independent of the length and area.
  • The both quantities will be effected only if the material will change.
  • Therefore η and Y remain same.
