Let Reema's age be x and Reema's mother's age be y

y = 4x------(1)

y + 5 = 3 (x + 5)
y + 5 = 3x + 15
y - 3x = 10-------(2)

Substitute (1) in (2),
4x - 3x = 10
x = 10------(3)

Substitute (3) in (1),
y = 4×10
y = 40
