Step-by-step explanation:

first first step is to add 60+60+75 suvai gate 195 now second step is to subtract 2,100-195 so we get 1,905

Solution :-

Let us assume that, monthly salary of simi is Rs.100x .

so,

→ Monthly salary of Rimi = 25% less than 100x = (75 * 100x)/100 = Rs.75x .

now,

→ Simi spends = 75% of his monthly salary = (100x * 75x)/100 = Rs.75x

out of this she kept 60% and gave remaining to her sister which is 40% of expenditure .

then,

→ 40% of 75x = 2100

→ (40 * 75x)/100 = 2100

→ 3000x = 210000

→ x = 70

therefore,

→ Rimi monthly expenditure = 60% of 75x = (60 * 75 * 70)/100 = Rs.3150 (Ans.) (Option C)

Hence, Rimi monthly expenditure was Rs.3150 .
