Answer:
Rina Kapoor is beautiful and literate and her family hires the saree shop to get the sarees for her wedding. Not only is she an educated woman, she has also convinced her family to let her marry the man she likes and she does not marry into a business family, as is the tradition of her family.
Instead she marries a man from the service class. She later becomes a novelist and writes a novel about an assistant in a sari shop, inspired by another character in the story, Ramchand. She is opinionated and a feminist.
