so in a week R works 42hrs (i.e 7*6)

R 1 hr work = 1/42

similarly M 1 hr work = 1/54

R + M 1 hr work = 1/42 + 1/54 = 8/189

so R and M can do the work in 189/ 8 = 23.6 hrs
