P.V. Sindhu who won silver medal in women's singles badminton became the youngest women to win an Olympic medal . And also she became the first women to win a silver medal in badminton in India.
Sakshi Malik who won bronze in wrestling became the fist Indian women to win a bronze medal in the women's wrestling.
Dipa Karmakar is the first Indian female gymnast to qualify for Olympics and also stood 4th in finals by attempting the death vault Produnova.
