Islam was founded by Prophet Mohammad. He was born in mecca in 570 CE. At the age of forty he got the enlightment and declared himself the Prophet of Allah. It is believed that Quaran was revealed to him by god's angel ,Gabriel.Mohammad was opposed of idol worship.

Spread of Islam:-

Islam came to the southeast asia, first by the way of Muslim traders along with the main trade route between asia and the far east, then was spread by sufi orders and finally consolitated by the expansion of the territories of converted rulers and their communities
