Rishabh scored thrice as many runs as varad. together ,their runs fell 8 short of a double century. how many runs did each one score?

Given  R = 3 V      ( RISHAB =R)                   (VARAD=V) and R+V=192 solving bother equations we get  R= 144  V = 48   So RISHAB schores 144 runs and VARAD scores 48 runs ....thanks;)
