The most worrisome aspect is they don't try to settle their conflicts and issues peacefully. Even at home they exhibit aggression on an issue with their siblings or parents. They vent out their hurt, differences, point of view through shouts or by kicking. The elders, especially the parents are quite concerned about the implications of their aggression. Nor are they ready to listen to the advice of the elders, brushing it aside as lectures or preaching. The expert on adolescence psychology ascribe their violence and aggression to the influence of so many factors. Internet, TV, video games, and lack of counselling are the most prominent causes leading to their violence. Internet has done them more harm than good. Action packed movies showing unrestricted violence, aggressive video games are easily accessible. So while watching these movies or playing these movies, their impressionable mind is adversely influenced. Added to that, lack of proper counselling and stress management training, the situation has become quite critical. The parents in collaboration with teachers must tackle the delicate situation with tact and coax their volatile children into living peacefully.
