• Cerebral palsy is a type of physical abnormality present from birth. It basically affects the tone, balancing and posture of the person. Pasly means difficulty in movement of the muscles. It is considered as a neurological disorder. It affects the motor area. In ataxic cerebral palsy, cerebellum ( balancing ) is affected. In spastic cerebral palsy, the area known as the basal ganglia is affected, which can lead to muscle stiffness.
