From "a" to "b" = 20km

she moves towards the west 30 km along the same road ...i.e. she moves back 30 km along the same path and cross away from point "a" ...let's take the final position denoted by a point c ...& we have the distance between the points "a" and "c" is 10 km ...

since, ab+ ac= bc

(20+ ac) km= 30 km

=> ac = (30-20)km

=> ac = 10 km

...thank you...
