money spent on notebook is 1/3 of $300=1/3 * 300=$100

remainder=$300-$100=$200

Money spent on stationary items is 1/4 of $200=1/4 * $200=$50

Hence,amount left is $200-$50=$150

Hope this helps you mate

Amount of money Rita has = $300 (given)

Amount of money left after spending on notebook:

1/3 x 300 = $100

$300 - $100 = $200

Amount of money left after spending on Stationery:

1/4 x 200 = $50

$200 - $50 = $150

Answer: She has $150 left.
