Rita had $300. She spent 1/3 of her money on notebooks and 1/4 of the remainder on stationery items. How much money is left with her?

□ Now, she spent 1/3 rd on notebooks.

□ So we will subtract 1/3 part of $300.

> 300 x 1 / 3 = $100 spent.

■ Now 300 - 100 = $200 is left.

□ She spent 1/4 of the remainder on statonery items. 

□ So, $200 x 1 / 4 = $50 spent.

Money left with her - $200 - $50 = $150

■ Ans. Rita is left with $150.

rita had money =$300

she spent on notebooks =1/3
300*1/3=100
300-100 =200

she spent on stationery items = 1/4
300*1/4=75
200-75
125
so she has $125 money
