Rita spilled sulphuric acid on the floor in the laboratory while demonstrating the experiment to her friend. First she poured water on the acid then she sprinkled sodium carbonate on it before getting it cleaned
a. why did she added water to the acid
b. name the type of the reaction which takes place when sodium carbonate is added to the acid.

a answer to reduce the concentration of acid and to make it's state neutral and dilute it and water is neutral substance it is neither base nor acid
