rita went for a science fair and saw a project in which three lemons were used to light a bulb. each of the lemon had zinc and copper strips pierced into it and these strips were connected to each other through a wire. a bulb fixed to the circuit was glowing. why was the bulb glowing?

answer is because lemon contains acid AnD acid is a good conductor of electricity so the bulb glows
