Rita went for a science fair and so project in which 3 lemons are used to light a bulb each of a lemon has zinc and copper strips freezed on it and this work connected to each other through a wire bulb fix to the circuit was growing why was the bulb glowing

because as zinc and copper are good conductors and lemon contains citric acid which break down in ions to conduct electricity and hence make the bulb glow...
