Rita went to a shop to buy orange drink for her family. She wanted to ensure that the drink was
fresh. She checked the back of tetra pack and realized that the date of manufacturing, the
expiry or the MRP were not mentioned. She did not want to enter into an argument with the
shopkeeper. What should she do?

There is a trend in small shops that people either remove the expiry dates or hide them. This is due to the fact that mostly things are not sold in time. So, to prevent the material from wastage they trick the consumers.
This type of behavior should not be tolerated. Since, it is a matter of health. Rita should not stay silent in this regard. She should not buy the juice but doing this is not enough.
First she should go to the website of the company and see if she finds anything or ask them regarding this matter. If not taken serious, she can register a complain to the relevant food authority.
