o open his shop this morning. Too big to be a cat and not quite
leopard, he thought, and he withdrew to the road where he was
oined by two labourers, who confirmed the worst. The feline was
ndeed a leopard which had strayed from the forests and decided to
spend the night on the Mall, when everyone else was indoors.
