Here's ur answer...

Let speed of current be x km/hr.
Speed of rowing be y km/hr.
So, speed upstream = (y - x) km/hr
Speed downstream = (x + y) km/hr
Speed = distance /time
According to question :
Upstream =
Downstream =
Adding (1) & (2)
y - x + x + y = 2 +10
2y = 12
y = 6 km/hr.
Put in (1)
6 - x = 2
- x = - 4
x = 4 km/hr.
So, speed of current = 4 km/hr
Speed of rowing = 6 km/hr.
