mass of the solid will be 95gm
bcoz +zero error is subtracted from measured value if it has +zero error

Hey dear,

◆ Answer-
Actual mass = 95 g

◆ Explaination-
# Given-
Zero error = +5 g
Least count = 5 g
Reading = 20 divisions

# Solution-
Measured weight of given solid is given by -
Measured weight = Reading × least count
Measured weight = 20 × 5
Measured weight = 100 g

Actual weight of given solid is calculated by-
Actual weight = Measured weight - Zero error
Actual weight = 100 - 5
Actual weight = 95 g

Therefore, mass of the given solid is 95 g.

Hope this helps you...
