River Ganga forms huge meanders. Why?

It is a Himalayan river and coming down the Himalayas gives it speed

Due to this speed it is quick to change routes

Whenever it changes routes a meander is formed

while flowing river tend to carry sediments which is also present in river Ganga. So it forms a huge meanders
