Given:- Riya has 24 marbles of two colors, yellow and blue.

The HCF of two groups of marble is 6.

To Find:- The number of yellow marbles

Solution:- Total number of marbles is 24.

The HCF of two groups of marble is 6.

HCF of two numbers means the highest common factor between two numbers

The numbers which are divisible by 6 between 0 to 24 are 6,12,18,24.

We know that the HCF of 18 and 12 is 6

Therefore, the number of yellow marbles is 18 since it is given that yellow marbles are more than blue marbles.

Answer:-The number of yellow marbles is 18.
