Riya takes 15mins to reach her school from her house on her cycle. If the distance between her house and home is 2km.calculate the speed

Given that,

Speed of the bicycle = 2m/s

Time taken to reach school = 15 minutes = 15 × 60 seconds = 900 seconds

Speed = (Distance travelled)/ (Time)

Distance = (Speed x Time)

= 2 x 900 =1800m

Also, 1km= 1000m

Therefore, 1800x (1/1000) = 1.8km.

The distance between her house and the school is 1.8 km.
