Let the father's age be x and Robin's age be y.
Then x - 25 = y
= x - y = 25 ........(1)
Also y+10/x+10 = 1/2
= 2*(y+10) = x + 10
= 2y + 20 = x + 10
= x - 2y = 10 ..........(2)
On doing (1) - (2) we get
y = 15.
Put this value in eq (1)
x - 15 = 25
x = 25 + 15
x = 40
Therefore, Robin's age is 15years and his father's age is 40years.
