Answer:

principle is 2000

Explanation:

Consider x as principle

Therefore

X×45/1000×2=180

9x/100=180

9x=180×100

X=18000/9

X=2000

Given:

Simple intrest ( I ) for 2 years ( T ) is 180 rupees.

Rate of intrest ( R ) = 4.5 % per anuam.

To find :

The principal ( P ) amount borrowed .

Solution:

We know

I = PTR / 100

There for

180 = ( P × 2 × 4.5 ) / 100

=》 180 = 9P / 100

=》 180× 100 = 9P

=》 P = 18000 / 9

=》 P = 2000 rupees.

Therefore the principle amount borrowed by Robin is 2000 rupees.
