Given,

Robin scored 5 goals from 20 shots.

Gagan's Success rate is twice that of Robin.

Total shots is 50 taken equally by both.

To Find,

The number of Goals Gagan Scored.

Solution,

Since a total of 50 shots are taken equally by both Gagan and Robin ⇒ 25 shots each.

Robin Scores 5 Goal in 20 shots ⇒ 1: 4

⇒ 1 Goal in every 4 shots.

Since Gagan's Success rate is twice that of Robin ⇒ 1 : 2

⇒ 1 Goal for each 2 shots.

Total Shots taken by Gagan = 25

Henceforth number of Goal by Gagan = 12.
