Rogan filled his car with 20 l of petrol and paid Rd.2650.What is the cost of a litre of petrol?

We are using the unitary method here:

20l = Rs. 2650
1l = x

So we divide : 2650/20 =(x) 2650/20= Rs. 132.

Therefore the cost for one litre of oil is Rs. 132.5.

As cost of 20 lit petrol is 2650 rs 
Cost of 1 lit of petrol will be Cost of 20 lit/20=2650/20=265/2=132.5 rs
Therefore, cost of 1 lit petrol is 132.5 rs.
