\LARGE{\bf{\underline{\underline{GIVEN:-}}}}

  • The cost of mixer = 2000 Rs.
  • Sales tax = 12%.

\LARGE{\bf{\underline{\underline{TO \ FIND:-}}}}

  • Bill amount.

\LARGE{\bf{\underline{\underline{SOLUTION:-}}}}

Initial price : 2000 Rs.

Tax is 12%.

Therefore, increment amount is:

\sf \to 12\% \ of \ 2000

\to \sf \dfrac{12}{100} \times 2000

\to \sf{\red{240 \ Rs.}}

Bill amount = Initial amount + Increment.

Bill amount = 2000 + 240.

Bill amount = 2240 Rs.

Solution

Given,

  • cost of mixer = ₹ 2000
  • Sales of the tax = 12%

To find ,

  • we have to find here the bill amount

So,

the initial price is 2000 and the tax is 12% .

  • Therefore the increment amount is ;

 \bold{12 \% \: of \: 250}

 =  >  \frac{12}{100}  \times 2000 \\  =  >  \bold{ \: rs.240}

the increment amount is 240 rupees .

Now,

we know that;

=> bill amount = initial amount + increment amount

  • putting the value we get ;

=> 2000 + 240

=> 2240

The bill amount is 2240 .
