Rohan brought a pack of 100 chocolates on his birthday to distribute in his classroom. After giving two chocolate to each student and his class teacher, he is left with ten chocolates. How many students are there in the class?

Rohan have = 100 chocolate
Let the no. of students + teacher = x
He left with = 10 chocolate
Given to students = 2 each
then ,
100-10=90
90/2=45
so there are
44 students
and
a teacher

Let the no. of chocolates given be x.

A/q, 

                100 - x = 10

⇒   100- 10 = x

⇒   90 = x

∴ x = 90

  So, chocolate was given to 90/2 = 45 people

          But, there was one teacher also.

So, no. of students = 45-1 = 44
