Find attachment

Let starting point be O

From O he moves 7 m to North which is A

From there he turns left and moves 5 m towards B

From B he moves to C for 7 m

So , Distance from initial point and final point is given by OC , which is nothing but AB

So , AB = OC = 5 m

So , he is 5 m away from initial point
