Rohini covers a distance of 2.4 km from his house to reach his school on a scooter. If the scooter has a speed of 6 m/sec, calculate the time taken by her to reach the school.

distance of home to school is 2.4 km

speed of the scooter is 6m/sec

to find time we have to convert 2.4 km into m

so we have to multiply 2.4 × 1000 = 2400m

then 2400 ÷ 6 = 400 sec
