Rohit donated 15% of his savings to flood relief fund. he distributed the remaining amount among his two children and wife equally. if the total savings of Rohit is Rs 120000, find the amount donated to flood relief fund .also, find the amount received by each ,his wife and two children

let amount donated be x rupees
therefore amount donated = 15% of 120000
x = 15/100 × 120000
x = 18000
therefore the amount donated from his total savings is 18000 rupees
remaining amount = 120000 - 18000
= 102000 rupees
therefore amount received by his wife = amount received by his two children = 102000/2 = 51000 rupees
