Speed of car=42 km/h

Time=42 min

       =42/60 hours       ( 1 minute = 1/60 hours)

        =7/10 hours

Now,  Distance = Speed * Time

       =42* 7/10

       =29.4 km

Therefore, the answer is 29.4 km.

Given,

  • Speed of the car = 42 km/hr
  • Time is taken by him = 42 min

To find,

  • Distance covered by Rohit.

Solution,

The distance covered by Rohit in 42 min if he is driving at a speed of 42 km/hr is 29.4 km.

We can simply find the distance covered by Rohit by using the formula,

      Distance = Speed * Time

Time is taken by Rohit in hours = 42/60 hrs

      Distance = 42 * 42 /60

                     = 294/10

                     = 29.4 km

Hence, the distance covered by Rohit in 42 min if he is driving at a speed of 42 km/hr is 29.4 km.
