Rohit's father is 5 years more than three times the present age of Rihit. If the age of father is 35, then find the present age of Rohit.​

according to given condition

1) y= 3x+5

now shifting y to rhs and 5 to lhs

we get ,

3x-y=-5 ..... (1)

according to second condition

y=35

so, here I can substitute the given age of father in first equation i.e. 3x-y=-5

3x- (35) = -5

3x-35=-5

now shifting -35 to rhs cause we need value of x

3x =-5+30 ( sign changed of 35 cause shifted to other side )

3x=30

now by deviding

we get

x=10
