Rohit wants to have an erect image of an object by using a converging mirror offocal length 40cm.
(i) Specify the range of distance where the object can be placed in front of the mirror. Give reason for your answer.
(ii) Will the image be bigger or smaller than the object?
(iii) Draw a ray diagram to show the image formation in thiscase.

(i) Object should be placed at <40 cm (Less than 40 cm) in front of the mirror, i.e. between focus and pole, as concave mirror forms a virtual, erect and magnified image when object is placed between focus and pole.

(ii) The image will be bigger than the object.
