After 1967 the bank's movement in India has started growth slowly . in rural development the banking sector is playing a key role.Before banks in rural areas the people were in serious debit has lead to social political economically problems.today nearly 40% of nationalised banks are in rural areas as 70% of population are from rural areas so to develop the economic growth of country the involvement of rural ppl was must in any way. so 17000 population area has a bank today in most of rural areas. credits to farmers monitor of agriculture small scale industry cottage industry handicrafts and other rural benefits. This credit goes to NABRARD. regional banks were also established to reach small entrepreneur and weaker sections. in last two decades lot of development in rural areas with the help of banking sector no schemes were been held directly without involvement of banks.banks play a major role along with giving credits to farmers and educating them in new technology of agriculture.Its only through banks the farmer reaching new advance systems in agriculture It's not far were the face of India is going to be changed by banking sectors..
