carbon dioxide is responsible for the increase in the temperature of earth as it traps almost all the heat from the sun that falls on the earth and doesn't allow it to get back into space.....which results in global warming

carbon di oxide leads to global warming because it form a layer which prevent sunlight to went out of earth and thus solar energy get traped in this layer and therefore many light rays going to outer surface of earth bounce back again to earth's surface from layer of CO2
hence this traped solar heat increase the temperature of earth'surface
