Electricity has revamped the villages in all aspects especially all the agricultural activities. Right from ploughing the land to processing of the product, electricity is a major role player. Power tillers help in land tilling. Seed drillers are used to sow seeds. Irrigation channels require electrical pumps to pump water to large areas. Processing of seeds for husk separation etc needs electricity. Even oil separation process is completed entirely on electricity only. In many small scale industries in villages esp. of Tea, electricity is needed nowadays for rolling, crushing and separation of tea leaves. Drying is a major process that is completed only through electricity.
