Gandhiji played a key role in civil disobedience movement. The famous Dandi March also took place under his guidance. He walked several miles from Sabarmati to Dandi barefooted. There in Dandi he made salt by using sea water and broke the salt law this marked the start of civil disobedience movement. Gandhiji appealed to all Indians to Boycott British made goods and british jobs.
