Green revolution consists of the techniques like irrigation, pesticides all the techniques which improve the crop varieties. This revolution increases production because of the improved technological advancement, because of the green revolution, there is replaced the use of the land.
The green revolution has its drawbacks as well when the pesticides are used they are then disposed of in the sea so they disturb the sea life, making the life of sea animals poisonous.
And with the increasing population, there is a need for more food and in order to fulfill that gap, advanced technological methods of for increasing food production are needed.
