hi,
insects are not only the most species—rich group on Earth, they also play numerous crucial roles in ecosystem functioning and the global economy. The conservation of insect diversity is therefore a topic of global importance. However, insects are mostly ignored by “biodiversity” research; for example, relationships between insect diversity and vegetation or climate change remain widely unknown.
hope this helps!!!

Answer:

Some people are fascinated by insects and collect them for pets, like spiders, ants (ant farm), tarantella, and other insects. There are also many people who dislike them. Take me for example I am horrified just by the thought of insects. I find them very disgusting and scary, even though I know some insects are not harmful such as butterflies, flies, ladybugs, and grasshoppers. Though I know that some insects are harmless, I still live in fear of them because they look scary.
