In an undemocratic or non-democratic country the role of the media is very limited.The media cannot openly criticise the ruling government and its policies.It is a tool in the hands of the government and can publish and broadcast only those items which has government recommendation and permission.

In an undemocratic country usually there is dictatorship and in the dictatorship people have very few right also the media can only upload after the article is scrutinized by the government for example North Korea
