Medicinal and aromatic plants have many parts/ingredients that can be used to treat various types of ailments, infections and other problems. Different forms of treatment such as  Ayurveda, naturopathy and aromatherapy rely heavily on such plants. These plants also serve as raw materials for condiments, soaps, fragrances, hair oils and more. With the demand for these plants increasing rapidly, they are exported abroad to countries like Canada, France, the US, the UK and Turkey. This forms a major part of the Indian exports and has increased considerably in the past decade.
