Good morning everyone present here. I feel immensely privileged to have got an opportunity to speak on ‘Importance of newspaper in students life’.
Well, I strongly feel the importance and value of newspaper for students is immense. There is a famous saying: “The newspaper is a greater treasure to the people than uncounted millions of gold.” Newspaper has invaluable information about the key affairs happening locally, nationally, and internationally. This information has very crucial data that a student must know about in order to enhance his knowledge about the world affairs.
If a student reads a newspaper regularly, he/she is familiar with the current topics; he has lots of information at his command that he can use while making projects, attempting answers in question papers, and other academic and co-curricular activities. Newspapers definitely keep a student’s general knowledge updated and enhanced.
Besides, reading a newspaper will also have a positive effect on a student’s reading, vocabulary, syntax, thought formation, and focus.
In conclusion we can say that newspapers are immensely important for students.
