Hi, Here is your answer

====================

NGOs in India play an active role in dealing with specific issues such as children and women rights, child labor, poverty elimination, rural development, caste discrimination and environmental issues. However, in the last couple of decades, more importance has been given to education and health sectors. In the education sector, NGOs have worked towards sending school dropouts in rural areas back to school. As for the health sector, various programs on eliminating diseases such as TB, malaria and leprosy, as well as enhancing sanitation and water facilities have been conducted.

Hope it is helpful......
