The most important role that a Nurseplays in the disposal of biomedical waste is in sorting or segregation. i) Anurse or any other health care profession is to ensure that the rightwaste goes into the right dustbin or container. For Example: - Sharp objects to be put into the sharps container.

NURSE HAS A VERY VERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN BIO MEDICAL WASTE. SHE IS THE ONE WHO TAKES THE CARE OF THE PATIENTS AS WELL AS IN THE SORTING AND SEGREGATION OF THE WASTE. SHE ENSURES THAT THE WASTE IS SORTED PROPERLY AND PUT IN THE RIGHT DUSTBIN.
