1. Philosophers played an important role in French Revolution. There ideas of justice and equality awaken people to fight for their rights.

2. They refuted doctrine of divine and absolute power of monarchy. Same thinking was stated by John Locke through his book " Two Treaties of Government "

3. Rousseau asked tge government to establish such management which nagotiate with common people and discuss there problems.

4. Montesquieu through his book " The Spirit of Laws " asked to divide power into three bodies - legislative, executive and judiciary.

5. As a result these ideas were discussed and debated in coffee shop, saloons amd were read alouder in French society for those who could not read and write.

Hence, philosophers played an important role in French Revolution.
